Hi! This is my first Teaser Tuesday post (Hosted by MizB @ A Daily Rhythm), so I hope you enjoy!
What to do:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•Be careful not to include spoilers (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesdays participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I was thinking I’d be doing teasers from Tiger’s Destiny by Colleen Houck or Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick, but I ended up finishing both earlier than planned. So I’m currently reading two books: The Daughters Break the Rules by Joanna Philbin and Cinder by Marissa Meyer (re-reading). Instead of doing two teasers from one book, I’ve decided to do 1 teaser for just one of the books I’m reading.
Teaser:
‘ “She thinks I’m weak,” Kai said. “She’s going to try and persuade me to accept the marriage alliance now, while everything’s in chaos.” He kicked the wall, biting back a cry of pain when he remembered he wasn’t wearing shoes. “Can’t we tell her no? Tell her she’s not welcome here?”
