I had been planning to do a review on this book soon after I did the one for Tiger’s Curse, but I ended up doing other reviews instead. As I recently finished Tiger’s Destiny, I finally decided to do reviews for the second and third book so I could post a review on that one (since it was amazing! I’ve cooled down emotionally to provide a reasonable and honest review, so it’s perfect timing. ;)).

If you’ve read the first book, you’ll know that our lovely Kelsey Hayes has chosen to go back to Oregon (without Ren), after helping Mr. Kadam and Ren to complete the first task to break the tiger’s curse, to protect herself from future heartbreak (by continuing things with Ren), and resume any sense of normalcy in her life. In the first part of the book Kelsey spends time with school stuff and dating other guys, all the while pining for Ren. *SPOILER ALERT!!!* Ren comes back, and obviously Kelsey goes back to him. Everything was nice and easy, and Ren’s brother Kishan comes to Oregon as well to provide extra protection. However, danger is just around the corner, and as a result, Kelsey is forced to return to India along with Kishan, but not Ren–Ren gets captured by Lokesh. Kelsey goes on another quest–this time with Ren’s brother Kishan–to complete the next task, and to save Ren. Filled with danger, choices of the heart, and thrilling moments, Tiger’s Quest brings our characters one step closer to breaking the tiger’s curse.

Hey there! I recently finished re-reading White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout (like I mentioned on WWW Wednesday and That’s What He Said Thursday) and can I just say that I loved it even more than before, if that’s even possible? ❤ Let me just tell you this: DO NOT JUDGE BY THE COVER. It looks like it is just a cheesy, steamy romance, but it’s not. Sure, there IS romance, but that’s not the ONLY thing. All in all, the book was amazing! Outstanding! And in this review I’ll be telling you why (Brace yourself, it might be a tad bit long, but hoepfully not). 🙂

I started this book with pretty high expectations, as I had read the Lux series by Armentrout and loved it. Needless to say, my expectations have been met!

In White Hot Kiss we follow Layla, who is an abnormality in her paranormal world since she’s half-Warden and half-demon. Wardens are gargoyles who fight demons. As a result of being half of both creatures, Layla is able to ‘tag’ demons so that other Wardens can get rid of them, as well as able to suck out the soul of anyone (who has one) with a single kiss. This makes dating near impossible (at least where kissing is concerned), and dating a Warden–specifically her crush Zayne, who sees her only as a sister–even more impossible (not to mention the fact that he’s expected to marry a Warden female and have kids), to continue the line of Wardens.

Growing up in a clan of Wardens, Layla’s brought up to hate the demon side of her, and demons in general. But after what was a supposed to be a simple tagging, everything Layla was taught to believe is put up to question when she meets Roth, a hot and dangerous Greater Demon, and is thrown in the middle of a possible demon uprising.

Hey guys! I’m back with a review on Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini, which I finished re-reading recently. Hope you enjoy! 🙂

Note: I’ll be breaking this review into 2 main parts: the characters, and plot. This time I won’t be putting a summary in my own words. Sorry! 😉

So, starting with characters: we Helen Hamilton, who’s the super-pretty-but-doesn’t-know-it type we see in other novels, as our protagonist. Handsome and protective Lucas Delos plays the love interest, and there is no sign of a love triangle in this book. We also have a supporting cast of the Delos clan (Hector, Jason, Ariadne, Cassandra, the parents, etc.), as well as Helen’s best friend Claire, among other characters.
