Hello! This is going to be a quick post. I just really need your opinion on something! 🙂
As most of you know, I participate in several weekly memes; Top Ten Tuesday, Teaser Tuesday, WWW Wednesday, That’s What He Said Thursday and Friday Finds. I really enjoy participating in all of these, but I think they sometimes get in the way of reviewing and my schedule. Now, what I need your help with is: I have been debating whether or not to quit the TWHST meme. I do have lots of fun finding quotes from one of the special guys to his heroine, but… I don’t know. The other memes I really enjoy doing, and I don’t really feel like quitting those. Not that I want to quit TWHST, but… you see my dilemma here?
Which is why, I thought, why not ask you guys? Out of all the memes I currently participate in, which one do you think I should quit? Or, what I really mean is, which meme do you not care for as much? Should I quit TWHST? I’d consider it a huge favor if you commented what you think I should do below.

I say if you don’t enjoy all that much and find it tedious to do, then quit it. If you still enjoy doing it I would keep it up. Maybe lower it to a semi monthly thing instead of weekly?

I think, of all the memes you list, TWHST is the one I find the least interesting – but that’s just my opinion!

Yes, I find that it’s the least popular meme, and compared to the other memes, I don’t enjoy it as much! So I guess I’m going to quit it. Thank you for your opinion! ❤

I think you should quit the one which is getting the least attention.Personally, I think you should review more and everywhere I see memes only but not much of reviews so it would be much better if they are both balanced. 🙂

Yes, and I think that would be TWHST. I’m not enjoying it as much either, so I suppose I’m going to quit it. I agree, I’ve noticed that my review count has gone smaller as I started the memes more often, so I think getting rid of TWHST might help me focus on reviews a bit more and balance it out. 🙂 Thank you so much for your help! ❤

The only meme I regularly do is Top Ten Tuesday and that and WWW Wednesday (which I used to do a lot, and still might do sometimes) are the only ones I ever really read when I see them on other people’s blogs. You can always cut down on the ones you always want to do and then do the other ones if you don’t have a review or something to post on that day.

Yes, I think TTT and WWW Wednesday are a couple of the most popular memes around the blogging community. That’s a very good point, I’m definitely considering that idea! Thank you for your input, it’s lots of help! ❤

If I were you I would probable stop doing the one I enjoy less… If you like the other memes more than TWHST you should stop doing it… I wouldn’t mind one less meme if it means more reviews =)

Yes, I think that’s what I’m going to have to do. I mean, I like TWHST, but compared to the others, not that much. I’m pretty certain that if I get rid of it I’ll be able to focus more on reviews, which is the true purpose of my blog. Thank you for your opinion! It really helps. ❤

Don’t continue something you personally don’t wanna do =] or you can keep doing all the memes but only doing them when you feel like it, that’s what I do xd but if you want our opinion; I am least familiar with That’s What He Said Thursday.

Yes, that’s what I’ve realized. I mean, I like TWHST, but not as much as the others, and I would say it’s the least popular meme out of all of them. That’s a very good idea, I think I might do that. Thank you so much for your input, it really helps! ❤

Woah, that’s really a lot A. I tried to do a few memes in the beginning but I couldn’t keep up, so I simply stopped and only continued Top Ten Tuesday cause I enjoy doing it. You could twist Teaser Tuesday and TWHST if you want as basically they are both based on quoting. I also think WWW is not that necessary but you should definitely continue if you like that. But like everybody said, don’t pressurise yourself into doing something that you’re not enjoying anymore. ❤

Yeah, I guess it is! And I just realized I forgot to mention the monthly meme I participate in, Exploring My Bookshelves. Lol. And I suppose I can, but I don’t think I want to continue with TWHST. Interesting! Thanks for your opinion. I think WWW is one of the more popular memes, and I do enjoy doing it, also it kind of puts an update on things I’ve been reading and plan to read, etc. So I think I’m going to continue with it. Thank you so much for your advice and opinion, it definitely helps! 🙂 I have decided to get rid of TWHST.

I say quit it. There’s no point doing a meme which you aren’t enjoying. Or maybe you could do it whenever you can? I don’t know if memes are supposed to be a regular thing (since the one I did was just whenever I felt like it!) so if it’s possible not to do it regularly then keep doing it, if not then I think you should quit. [:

Do what makes you happy! I would not have a problem with you stopping this meme. Its always best to do something that you look forward to posting and writing, so go for it! Sometimes doing so many memes can be tiring, which is why I try to participate in maybe at a maximum of two per week, rarely more.

Thank you Josie! That really helps. 🙂 I have decided to quit it, it wasn’t making me happy anymore, and I think I would be better off focusing on the memes I enjoy doing and my reviews. Thanks again for your input, it really helped me decide whether or not to continue the meme. ❤

I agree with most people. If you’re already thinking about giving it up, is because you’re not enjoying it, so just do whatever you feel like it. 🙂

Thanks for your opinion! I agree, that’s what I’ve realized. I just wasn’t having much fun anymore doing it. Now, my time and effort could be used elsewhere, like my reviews. 🙂

If you don’t like doing it, you shouldn ‘t force yourself! You can always do it once every two weeks or once a month or something 🙂

I think you should comebup with a comfortable routine. I mean blogging takes time and we all read less at some point. Just figure out which tags are comfy for your routine and keep them. Maybe drop them all and make your own weekly posts. Anything that makes you feel thay you have spare time to read.

Yes, I think I should! I definitely do spend time on memes when I could be reading or reviewing, which I guess does cramp my schedule. I’ll definitely be coming up with a more comfortable routine, thanks for mentioning it! ❤

I will forever be amazed by how you’re able to juggle daily blogging with 5 weekly memes (you used to have 6 with Exploring My Shelves, correct?) and still read as fast as you do. It’s seriously commendable especially since you do all this alone, Analee. Anyway, I honestly find my favorite posts of yours to be Top Ten Tuesday and book reviews. Teaser Tuesday is a fun one I like to tune in sometimes as well. But I suggest forgo one of the others if it’s getting too much. That way you have more time to focus on book reviews. Because we both know how the reviewing queue just gets backed up sometimes. 😉 Anyway, do what will benefit you and not make you feel stressed! I’m sure, all of your readers will be happy with whatever you choose to do. 🙂

I feel like I’m just repeating what the others said, but I don’t think there’s any point doing a meme that you’re not actually enjoying. I’ve always admired how you can balance all of them with your reviews and reading (and studies, too), but I can only imagine how overwhelming it can get. I actually love TWHST, but if it’s clashing with your reviews… sigh. Guess I’ll have to make myself bear the pain of seeing it go. *hides a tear*
Putting aside the drama, I’m still firm about what I started the comment with. If you’re not enjoying it, then don’t do it, period.

Ok, I’m going to be 100% honest here, and I hope you don’t hate me for it, but I prefer teaser posts like Teaser Tuesday and TWHS Thursday! On the other hand, I don’t generally read Friday Finds. (I might just skim and look at the cover images.) *waits for shunning*
