Confess Quote
I recently finished this book and it was great! This is definitely one of its signature quotes and I really like it.
The Night Circus quotw
A book I recently finished, The Night Circus was an interesting book that had plenty of interesting quote-worthy passages and I figured I’d use one of its quotes that kind of stuck out to me.
Summer of Chasing Mermaids Quote
I really loved this book, I’m so glad I read it! The writing was really beautiful and I simply love the quotes from this book.

I tag:

It’s not an obligation, so feel free to opt out of the tag if you already did it before or if you’re not interested. 🙂 Otherwise, I can’t wait to see your quotes! ❤

WWW Wednesday #18 (August 5)

Hello! How are you all on this fine Wednesday? I am taking a little break from my sighting around Quebec to take the time to update you guys on my reading! Let’s get to it—It’s time for WWW Wednesday, a meme formerly hosted by MizB @ Should be Reading and now hosted by Sam @Taking on a World of Words. To play along, answer the three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

I’m currently reading 3 books (kind of a relief after these past weeks of reading 4-5 each week, lol). I’m really enjoying both of them, and I’m constantly finding an excuse to read them! Even though technically I’m supposed to be spending time with my family and visiting places around Quebec, hehe. 🙂 The writing in The Summer of Chasing Mermaids is so beautiful, I’m loving it! And Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares and The Wrath and the Dawn is a really interesting read.

Recently Finished

I read 5 books this week, as you can see. They were all great, I’m happy to say! Me Before You was a touching and wonderfully written story (it managed to get me to shed a tear, actually! And if you know me you know how rare that is for me). Hide and Seek was thrilling and suspenseful, just like its predecessors. Your Voice is All I Hear is another great book, but my emotions are still a bit all over the place. And I was so excited to read Every Last Breath, I’m so glad I received it before I left for Mont Tremblant, because I got the chance to read it on my trip. It was really good! I would say I’m pretty happy with it.

Read Next

I can’t wait to start The Wrath and the Dawn! I wanted to start it during this past week, but I never got the chance, and plus, I wanted a bit more summery reads. I didn’t want to start The Wrath and the Dawn when I was in the mood for a different genre, it would ruin the experience. But I’m definitely going to be starting this book this coming week, I can’t wait! And Until We Meet Again and The Sister Pact are both looking great too. And as for The Night Circus, I think it’s high time I start this one! I’ve heard generally positive reviews on this, but there are some mixed opinions, so I’m curious.

So that’s it for this week’s WWW Wednesday! What do you think of this week’s selection of books? And what have you been reading now, then and next? I’m running a bit late now, so that’s it for now! I gotta go and visit some more places in Quebec but feel free to leave a comment below with your thoughts and your WWW Wednesday!

Happy reading!

Top 10 Tuesday #8 (June 02): Top Ten Books That Are Planned to be Movies

Hello lovely bookworms! The time has come for another Top 10 Tuesday, a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is top ten books I’d love to see as movies or TV shows, but I’m going to change it up a bit and do top ten books that have been optioned/are under development/are soon to be movies, since I already covered this topic on ABEA Day 4, but oh well.

Eleanor and Park

1. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

This would make an awesome movie! There haven’t been much details about this movie yet, but the rights were purchased, I’m pretty sure. Definitely would go to see this movie!

2. All the Bright Places by Jennifer NivenAll the Bright Places_bookcover

This is also going to be a movie! I believe Elle Fanning has been chosen to play the role of Violet. You can see more details about this here. This was such a heartbreaking story, and simply amazing. Perfect for a movie!

The Night Circus_bookcover3. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

According to Popsugar, there hasn’t been any casting news yet, but Jane Eyre writer Moira Buffini will pen the script. I know lots of people loved this book so I’m definitely excited if they’re making a movie! I actually have this book on my shelf, so I’m going to try and get to it soon.

4. Dark Places by Gillian FlynnDark Places_bookcover

Don’t know much about this, but I believe Chloe Moretz (If I Stay) is going to be a part of the cast, along with several other people. I haven’t read this book yet, but I want to! (Have you read this? What did you think of it?)

The Scorch Trials_bookcover5. The Scorch Trials by James Dashner

This one is already a planned movie, as it is the sequel to The Maze Runner. I know some people didn’t like The Maze Runner, but I personally was okay with it, and I’m interested in seeing how they do the second movie! Here’s the trailer:

6. Paper Towns by John GreenPaper Towns_bookcover

This is another planned movie, that will be released summer 2015 if I remember correctly, starring Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne. Check out the trailer below:

Beautiful Disaster_bookcover7. Beautiful Disaster Jamie McGuire

I have this on my TBR, and I actually just found out today that it might be a movie. Better read it soon!

8. Me Before You by Jojo MoyesMe Before You_bookcover

  • I haven’t read this yet (although I will for my Popsugar challenge) I’m dying to read it, especially now after finding out there will be a movie! Apparently Emilia Clarke will be playing the character Louisa opposite Sam Claflin.

Fantastic Beasts_bookcover9. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K Rowling

  • The queen J.K Rowling revisits the Harry Potter universe in this book about Newt Scamander, who “wrote” the textbook that Potter and his classmates would study. (Popsugar)
  • No one has been cast yet, but David Yates has signed on to direct.

10. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom RiggsMissPeregrine'sHomeforPeculiarChildren_bookcover

This will be an amazing movie! I’m not sure if it’s 100% sure that a movie will be made, but if it is, it would be awesome. According to Popsugar, Eva Green and Asa Butterfield will star, with Tim Burton directing.

So that’s it for this week’s Top 10 Tuesday! What books would you like to see as a movie/TV show? What books are being planned to be a movie/TV show? Let me know in the comments below, along with other thoughts you might have!

Happy Tuesday!

Mini May Book Haul

I usually post a huge book haul post at the end of each month, but as I just got some awesome new books yesterday, I decided to show them off! 😉 The camera on my iPod is glitching right now, so I won’t be able to post original pictures of the books, unfortunately! I’ll have to make do with the covers off Goodreads.

So, the books I got:

Book titles (linking to Goodreads):

I’m so excited to finally have purchased this stunning book! ❤ I’m already halfway through it (#ReadingInClass) and it’s amazing so far!

I’m loving her Love, Rosie book so far, so I had to buy this book! Plus, that cover though! So fun, with bright colors. My kind of thing!

Same reason as P.S I Love You! I also heard several good things about this book.

I’ve heard so much hype surrounding this book, and I’m dying to read it!

I don’t think I need to explain this one! There’s been so much hype around this, and so many great reviews! Can’t wait to read it.

I had no idea Kody Keplinger wrote a companion novel to The DUFF! The minute I saw it, I knew I had to buy it! (*Check out my review on The DUFF here.)

Do I have to explain this one? I’m super excited to read this, I know it’s been a while since it’s been released, but I just haven’t had the chance to read it! 🙂

So that’s it for my mini book haul! Keep your eyes out for my bigger haul I will be posting at the end of this month. 🙂

What books have you recently hauled? Let me know in the comments below! ❤

Happy hauling!
