WWW Wednesday #23 (September 9th, 2015)

Hello! Welcome to another WWW Wednesday, a meme formerly hosted by MizB @ Should be Reading and now hosted by Sam @Taking on a World of Words. All you have to do to join in is answer three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

More Than This

I’m currently reading only 1 book, which is; More Than This by Patrick Ness. I’m reading this book as part of a Goodreads readalong and so far I’m really liking it! (It’s Patrick Ness, after all. :P) Unfortunately I haven’t been able to read it that much, I just started school yesterday and things are bit hectic right now, but I do plan on reading it whenever I can!

Recently Finished

I haven’t been able to finish many books this week, for mainly two reasons; can’t bring myself to fully be into the story (call is a reading slump if you will, but I just haven’t been into the reading game as much) and also because as I mentioned, school started and I had been busy getting prepared, etc. But I finished 3 books, all of which I enjoyed.

Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas completely turned everything around with the direction it’s taking, with the characters and everything! I swear, my heart probably broke 10 thousand times over and over. There are several issues I had with it, but I still really liked it.
As soon as I get reviews up for Crown of Midnight, Heir of Fire and The Assassin’s Blade, I’ll be going in-depth of my thoughts on Queen of Shadows in my review. 😉

The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson is a wonderful book! I really loved it, and I can’t wait to read its sequels. The plot was so intriguing, and the characters and writing were great as well. More to come in my review (even though I’m not sure when I’ll be able to post that).

Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider was a great read as well, it reminded me of both TFIOS and Looking for Alaska, but yet it still was its own story. It was a very quick read, and I really loved the humor and the characters.

Attachments by Rainbow Rowell was a pretty good read, although perhaps not a full favorite in comparison to my love for her other two novels I’ve read, Eleanor & Park and Fangirl. It still was a very entertaining read, and although I don’t have that many adult contemporary novels to compare it too, it was a very good adult novel as well.

Read Next

I still haven’t been able to get to these, and although I doubt I’ll be able to get to them all, I’m hoping I’ll be able to start and finish at least one or two of these. Not sure yet which one I should go with, but I do hope to read them soon! Any recommendations?

So that’s it for this week’s WWW Wednesday! Let me know how your week has been and what you think of my books in the comments below! I will also be around checking out your posts, so feel free to link your WWW post as well. I can’t guarantee when I’ll be by, but I’ll try my best! ❤

Hope you’re having an awesome day or night, wherever you are! Happy Wednesday!
