Top Ten Tuesday #25 (October 20th): Top 10 Wishes I’d Ask the Book Genie to Grant Me

♪It’s Tuesday, Tuesday… Nope, doesn’t have the same ring to it. 😉 But anyway! Hello bookworms! It is indeed Tuesday, which means it’s time, of course, for a Top Ten Tuesday, a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is :

10 Wishes I’d Ask The Book Genie To Grant Me (a new book from a certain author,  a reading superpower, a library that is your absolutely #librarygoals, a character to come to life, to met a certain author etc. etc.) YOU DREAM IT AND THE BOOKISH GENIE CAN DO IT.

There are so many I can name for this! So are you ready? Let’s do this.

1. Own any book that I want for free.

This is a given, right? The wallet always suffers from buying books, which of course puts limitations on the books I buy, no matter what sale is going on! So it would be a dream come true if I could own any book I want, the moment I wish for it, for free. Every bookworm’s dream! ❤

Basically me about all the books…

2. Have a huge personal library in my house filled with said books.

Ahhhh, imagine, a huge, cozy library with reading chairs, and of course, a nice bed so I can read comfortably, day or night, with bookshelves surrounding me, which all hold my precious books… Oh! And also a fridge and some snacks in case I get hungry. After all, I really doubt that after entering this awesome library, I’d want to ever leave! XD

Beast Library
This seems like a pretty good image to start on! 😉 Just needs some extra Analee-themed finishes and that’s my new room! Get on it, Book Genie!

3. Give me the power to keep all books looking good as new.

You know those books you’ve had for a long time (paperbacks especially) that are simply in horrible condition, with broken spines, stained pages, and the horror you feel whenever you look at them? Yeah, that’s what this wish is for! Imagine if all your books—paperbacks included—were always in pristine condition, even after any damages it may have gotten? Ahhhh how amazing!

4. Make reading books a world-wide career for any bookworm (me included!)

Dream come true, right here! (Well one of my infinite dreams, of course.) This would honestly be the best job in the world (although maybe being a published author might come close). My life would be complete heaven, money-wise! Not to mention I’d definitely enjoy getting up for work in the morning!

5. Be transported into any book that I want, whenever I want.

Ooh, just imagine how amazing it would be if I could be inside a story, being whichever character I want, whenever I want?! Not only would that be incredibly epic, at least now I can kind of get some insight on why some characters are utter idiots…

6. Get my favourite characters to come to life.

..To get together for a Bad Blood music video replica!! Nah, I’m kidding for that one. But it would be so incredibly amazing if my favourite characters came to life!! That, of course includes book boyfriends—though I think I might collapse from excitement at that point—or even combust…

7. Have more time to read!!

There’s hardly ever time to read now, so yes, this wish must be granted!! I don’t care, stop time if you have to, Book Genie. That would be great, thanks!

8. Have unpublished sequels of books immediately after I finish the first book!

You have no idea how torturous it is having to wait for the next book in a series!! Or maybe you do, ’cause I know I’m not alone here! Aghhh I drive myself crazy just thinking about it. It would be so fantastic if I could have the sequels of books immediately after I finished the first book. Sorry authors, chop chop! Better write faster.

9. Meet a bunch of my favourite authors.

Although I’d probably have a seizure from too much excitement, this would be so cool! I doubt I’d know what to say either, but you know. I’ll attempt not to make a complete fool of myself! 😉

10. To have series covers match (and not change half-way).

It can be so annoying when book covers in the same series don’t match—or if the covers all change mid-way through a series. Like, no!! Now I have to buy the books again. Of course, when my Book Genie grants Wish #1 for me, money won’t be an issue, but still. Just make it easy on us, publishers/authors/cover designers. Please!!

So, Book Genie, this is my offering to you! I have given you my wishes, now simply grant them for me, please and thank you! ❤

And you, fellow readers! Tell me, what do you think of these wishes? Any of them a waste, in your opinion? What wishes would you wish to be granted? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to know! Love you all, I hope you all enjoy your day!

Until the Next Meal, Analee
