Hello! It’s time for WWW Wednesday, a meme formerly hosted by MizB @ Should be Reading and now hosted by Sam @Taking on a World of Words. To play along, answer the three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Currently Reading
I am currently reading 2 books; (a record low for me these days) Me Before You by Jojo Moyes & Hide and Seek by Sara Shepard.
Recently Finished
I finished 6 books this past week:
- Before Vengeance by Louisa Lo
- Yes Please by Amy Poehler
- Like Candy by Debra Doxer
- Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
- Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
- What You Left Behind by Jessica Verdi
So far I only have a review on Simon vs, [which you can check out here] but I will be posting a review on Made You Up later this week, along with a review on What You Left Behind. Hopefully. I’m still trying to sort out my thoughts on Yes, Please, so I can’t really guarantee a review on it yet. In any case, I did enjoy the majority of these, especially Simon vs., Made You Up and What You Left Behind.
Read Next
- The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler
- Your Voice Is All I Hear by Leah Scheier
- Until We Meet Again by Renee Collins
- Cross My Heart and Hope to Die by Sara Shepard
- Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella
- Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
- The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Wow, I can’t believe the number of contemporaries I’ve been reading lately! I must really get to some fantasy and paranormal reads, I’m missing out on so many of them! Lol.
I can’t wait to read The Summer of Chasing Mermaids, I read so many great reviews on it (like Summer’s one) and I really want to read it, along with Finding Audrey, I’ve heard great things about that one too. I’ve also heard good things about Your Voice is All I Hear and Until We Meet Again, and I got approved for them on Netgalley so I can’t wait to start them both! The last two books are books I will be reading as part of August read-alongs, I’m so excited to start them, especially readalong for The Wrath and the Dawn, which is being hosted by Bibliophile Gathering .
So that’s it for this week’s WWW Wednesday! What have you been reading now, then and next? Let me know in the comments below or link your post! Happy Wednesday!
