Types of commenters // Because categorizing things is my favourite? + I reached 1k (!!!) + GIVEAWAY

Thought since like, Wednesday (?): Either the 1000 is made of random bots or there are actually people who followed and read my posts??? I DO NOT KNOW. 

[Okay, but I recently finished Geekerella and the MC had like, 30 000 followers on her blog over the course of a few days?? HOW??? (Oh right, fictional being. Ha.) ]

Helllo everyone and I hope you’re doing well (and enjoying Father’s Day)!! I am so glad it’s the weekend omg though it’s ending so quickly?? I have extended family over and it’s super hectic (which is why I’ve been slower with blog hopping and comments!) but weekends are weekends!

In other news, in case… somehow you didn’t read the title?? (idk it could happen I guess) I REACHED 1000 FOLLOWERS!! Don’t worry, I won’t go all mushy on you but to all of you who reads, likes, and/or comments on my posts, thank you so much, it honestly means the world to me and one of the biggest reasons I continue to blog.  So THANK YOU ily guys so much!! ❤ (I still half feel like I’m dreaming but whateverrr apparently it’s real?)

So I talked a bit about my thoughts on comments last time, and it inspired me to come up with: A LIST! Because people seem to like those (same #lists4ever) and also because categorizing things is a pass time of mine (lol), this time we’re going to focus on: Types of commenters*!!  As my ever-so-grateful thanks for all of you who follow (and comment) on my blog. 😉 ❤ AND! I have a little extra surprise for y’all at the bottom as well which I also revealed in the title!! Am I kind of forcing you to stay and read this post yes yes I am.

1. The Loyal Commenter

MY HEART. ❤ There are those bloggers who are just so on top of their blogging and commenting game, you know?? And they pretty much always remember you and stop by to leave a comment or like your post and just AW THANK YOU. ❤ ❤ I don’t ever get to really shout my appreciation for the incredible bloggers who do that, so this is for you guys, I swear, blogging would NOT be the same without me having you guys on my side and I’m so glad that I met you! I aim to be this type of commenter. ❤ SOMEDAY. Thankfully it’s the summer so I’ll have more time to make sure I’m on time for blog hopping haha.

2. The PASSIONATE commenter

This is the commenter who has a tendency to USE CAPS LOCK ALL THE TIME. (Same honestly..) And you always know right away when their name pops up in your notification a semblance of what their comment will be like!! And it’s always SO much fun to talk to them or reading their comment because they’re just so enthusiastic! THANKS LOVELIES.

3. The Sporadic Commenter

These are the followers who don’t always show up on your notifications with a comment, but they do stop by from time to time! 🙂 I think I fall into this category sometimes, for some blogs. Like the ones I follow, but not as regularly, you know? Because I’ve learned, it’s impossible to keep up with every post in your Reader ahah so I just try my best. So thank you, to any sporadic commenters out there who choose to comment once in a while!

4. The Surprise/New Commenter

Often times I also see these to be the people who like my posts regularly, but don’t often comment? So it’s kind of a surprise (a really good one!!), when one day you see their comment on a post! I also put the ‘new’ commenter with this, which is someone who hasn’t ever commented on your blog before! It’s another lovely surprise, finding someone new on your blog. I love all and anyone who takes the time to read and comment, so THANK YOU, surprise commenters!

5. The Binge-commenter

IS THIS ME?? YES IT IS. You might not always see this blogger right away when you post something, but sooner or later they will appear and comment on MANY if not all, the posts they missed, all at once.  ME ME ME ME ME speaking of which I need to finish doing that later next week there are too many blogs I haven’t caught up on.

They will also be slightly terrified of the blogger being annoyed with their spam-like comments (since there will be so many of them) BUT THEY MEAN WELL, I PROMISE. ❤

They meaning I. 

6. The comment-for-a-comment commenter

Wayyyy too many ‘comment’s in there oops. I think this is the all-around commenter that everyone has gotten AT LEAST once, if not more omg. The commenter that leaves ‘great post!’ and/or leaves their blog link, usually. I’m not going to say I have anything against these types of comments, cause I don’t! Not really? But I’ll admit reading more personalized comments mean a bit more to me. But nonetheless, to all the ‘Great post!’ people out there, I still appreciate you taking the time to stop by haha.

7. The short-and-sweet commenter

I think often this type is mixed with another type? Like sporadic, maybe? But either way, these are just the commenters who are usually right to the point, with concise and short comments… I just realized the title is very self-explanatory. SO. Either way, I love reading these comments! (LOOK I MADE MY COMMENTARY SHORT.)

8. The longer-the-better commenter

And obviously, there’s the opposite, which are the longer comments! Sometimes rambly, sometimes not. I think that kind of depends on the blogger, you know, if they have a lot to say on one topic or if they talk about different topics that makes the comment longer. I personally love long comments, especially since I often write many of them myself haha and also it means so much to me knowing they took the time! ❤ There’s just so much to talk about and they’re often so insightful!

9. The conversational commenter

This is the commenter that flits from topic to topic, commenting on so many different things you end up having a whole different discussion than the one you originally started off with!! You may have met one, you may have not, but they’re SO great to talk to ahah and I feel like we’d totally be best friends if we ever met in person?? ❤

10. The silent supporters

And finally, this is actually for the people who DON’T comment! For anyone who likes, or reads my posts because I know there’s a lot of you so thank you even though this is a types of commenter post, it still means a lot to me. 🙂
