Goodbye February, hello March book releases! // NEW BOOKS YAY.

Hey everyone!

February is over, can you believe it?? It went by so fast ahhhh. I mean, even apart from the fact that it’s only 28 days. I hope your month went well! Mine was made better by the fact that I finally got to read A Conjuring of Light. πŸ˜› (No, I’m not going to stop talking about it.) But the end of February brings March, which of course, means new book releases! And for your convenience, I have plenty of them here for you to check out aha. Let’s get into it!

2017 March book releases

March 7th

  • The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by BenjaminΒ Alire SΓ‘enz: I haven’t read Aristotle and Dante yet (cue gasps, I know, I WILL READ IT though) but I’m currently reading it and I’m so excited for people to read this!
  • Goodbye Days by Jeff Zentner: I’ve heard so much about this author and I’m so excited to see what this book is like.
  • The Great Pursuit by Wendy Higgins (EuronaΒ Duology #2):Β I haven’t read the first book, The Great Hunt, but I do have it on my TBR and hope people who’s in the middle of this duology enjoy this book!
  • You’re Welcome, Universe by Whitney Gardner:Β I’ve heard a lot about this one, and am excited to see how the deaf main character is portrayed as well.
  • The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco (The Bone Witch #1):Β I’m not quite sure what this is about, but it seems interesting aha.
  • Seven Days of You by Cecilia Vinesse:Β I only read a couple of reviews on this one, from what I’ve read of the reviews and the synopsis, it seems like a cute novel!
  • The Song Rising by Samantha Shannon (The Bone Season #3):Β I’m not sure if I have this on my TBR, but it seems like it’s a good series so I might have to pick it up!
  • Alone by Scott Sigler (The Generations Trilogy #3):Β I’ve seen the previous books before, but I never really got the motivation to pick them up haha. I hope people following the series enjoy the last book though!

March 14th

  • The End of Oz by Danielle Paige (Dorothy Must Die #4): I haven’t started this series, but I’m pretty sure this is the final book so I think I might pick it up soon. πŸ™‚
  • Hunted by Meagan Spooner:Β Beauty and the Beast retelling, yay!
  • Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde: Tbh I have no idea what this is about, I’m sure it’s good, butΒ the fact that it does not coordinate with the green theme of the first two books is bothering me SO MUCH. Ahem.

March 21st

No idea what either one is about. (Hey, that’s what Goodreads is for!) But they seem good aha. πŸ˜›

March 28th

  • Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor (Strange the Dreamer #1): OH HI IT’S LAINI TAYLOR’S BOOK I’m not dying for this or anything. (GIVE IT TO ME NOWWWWW.)
  • A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi (The Star-Touched Queen #2):Β I enjoyed the first book of the series, but I have a feeling I’m going to love this one even more, and I’m so excited. ALSO THAT COVER.
  • Blood Rose Rebellion by Rosalyn Eves (Blood Rose Rebellion #1):Β A new author, but I’ve seen this around and the cover and synopsis makes me want to pick this up so much.
  • Things I Should’ve Known by Claire LaZebnik:Β I’m SO excited for this release. The last book I read from her (a while ago, but nonetheless), Epic Fail, was very adorable and I can’t wait to read this one.
  • The Heartbeats of Wing Jones by Katherine Webber:Β THIS COVER omg.
  • The Gauntlet by Karuna Riazi: Wow the contrast between this one and the other two books is major and causes much pain to my eyes, but nonetheless, seems intriguing!

And there we have it! I WANT THEM ALLLLLL. At least March 7th releases aren’t too far off, but I especially want March 28th to come fasterrrrrrr omg. So many books here! Which of these are you looking forward to the most?? Any other March release you’re looking forward to? Let me know in the comments!

Until the Next Meal, Analee

  1. There are so many amazing books being released in March and I want them all!
In terms of The Song Rising that is a series you definitely need on your to-read list. It’s one of my all-time favourites, I’ve read the third book myself and it was just as brilliant as I’ve come to expect from Samantha Shannon. πŸ˜€
Also Strange the Dreamer is possibly number one on my most anticipated releases list for March, I feel like I’ve been waiting for that book forever and I can’t wait to get started on it. πŸ™‚ ❀

    • Right?!! Ooh I’m definitely going to have to put it on my TBR then! I’m glad to hear that. ❀ It's always great when the last book of a series is just as good as the rest, finales can get so hard to do right sometimes. πŸ™‚ Ahhh yes Strange the Dreamer seems so good, and I am so ready for another Laini Taylor book. So excited for its release!! (Although it's at the end of March which is kind of disappointing, but hey, it's much closer now YAY.)

      • That is great to hear Analee. I really hope you enjoy it and I’ll be eagerly awaiting your reviews to see what you think as well.
Strange the Dreamer is going to be amazing, it’s Laini Taylor so that’s a given I think, but yeah I’ve been waiting for this book ever since it was pushed back from last year to this. I’m sure it will be worth the wait though. πŸ™‚

  2. Nice stuff!

I have read one book by Scott Sigler and I think I would like to pick up the series. I may just go crazy and buy all three books one day hmm…

  3. SO many incredible books are released this month, it’s crazy. I read The Inexplicable Logic already and it was really good, I enjoyed it a lot! πŸ™‚ I can’t wait for Queens of Geek and You’re Welcome Universe, I think they’re my most anticipated from your list! πŸ˜€

  4. I’ve read The Bone Witch and unfortunately it’s only meh. It could have been a lot better if it hadn’t been so confusing and had been more empowering for women instead of turning them into magical geisha with combat training.
I am most excited for Queens of Geek and Goodbye Days, already pre-ordered both of those πŸ˜€

    • Aw no! That’s too bad to hear. It sounded like it was so good! It’s always disappointing when a book wasted their potential.
Aha many people have mentioned Queens of Geek, I’m going to have to remember that one! And aha yes Goodbye Days looks so good, I can’t wait. ❀

  6. *squeals* There are SO many books coming out in March that I’ve had my eye on for such a long time, so I’m sure my wallet is going to be weeping and telling me to get it together – as it goes, you know? πŸ˜› I can’t wait to get my hands on Strange the Dreamer, Queens of Geek, the Gauntlet and the Song Rising. Great post! I think monthly new releases are such a good idea because it gives you the time to showcase books that are less known. β™‘

    • *squeals back* I KNOW RIGHT?! I swear, my wallet is weeping already (so is the 1% of my brain that is telling me to be logical and not buy all the books this month) but hey, it’s the bookworm life. πŸ˜‚ It’s a familiar cycle. Ooh yes, I can’t wait for those as well! They all seem so great. 😍 Thank you! I’m glad you like it.
