My Life in Books | Book Tag

Hello everyone! I wasn’t specifically tagged by anyone to do this, but I saw this way back on Bhramori’s blog, and I thought I might try it out. I really shouldn’t be doing this tag when I have so many other pending tags in which I was actually tagged in, but this one was in my drafts for quite some time, so why not? It seems like a pretty unique tag too, so let’s get to it, shall we?

My Life in Books

1. Find a book for each of your initials

There are lots of books I could choose! I’m going to go with:

Angelfall by Susan Ee

Saint Anything

2. Count your age along your book shelf- which book is it?

That would be 17… and the book would be:

The Truth About Forever

3. Pick a book set in your city/state/country.

I decided to go for the broad choice for this one, with a book that is set in my country (Canada, in case you didn’t know):

Anne of Green Gables

4. Pick a book that represents a destination you would love to travel to.

Umm… basically every book?? I’m not even kidding. But I’m going to go with:

Anna & the French Kiss_bookcover2

I’ve always wanted to visit Paris, France! I haven’t read this book yet, but judging from the cover and what I’ve read about it, Paris is one of its settings. 🙂

5. Pick a book that’s your favourite colour.

I love almost all the colors of the rainbow, so I guess the most accurate choices would be:

The covers for A Thousand Pieces of You and Ten Thousand Skies Above You are stunning!! Love them so much!!

6. Which book do you have the fondest memories of?

Probably Roald Dahl‘s books! I remember loving to read them as a kid. 🙂

7. Which book did you have the most difficulty reading?

Matched trilogy

I feel like I use this series way too much for these kind of questions, but I honestly can’t think of any that would suit this question more. It’s pretty sad when you think of it. To me, the series just got worse and it took me forever to complete the books.

8. Which book in your TBR pile will give you the biggest sense of accomplishment when you finish it?

Game of Thrones Book

Probably the Game of Thrones series! Those books are really thick, and since currently I don’t even know if I’m going to read them, I imagine if I do finish the series, it would be quite satisfying.

This was a very cool tag! I hereby tag:

    • Yes!! This question is quite a difficult one, but I think I’m going to agree, although my preferences are subject to change haha. 🙂 They’re both stunning! Can’t wait to see what they do for the third book.
No problem! ❤ Looking forward to seeing your answers.

  3. Those covers for A Thousand Pieces of You and Ten Thousand Skies Above You are just beautiful, aren’t they? I’m not really thinking about reading them soon, but if I ever do, I know it’ll be just because of the covers! I did this tag such a long time back, I don’t even remember half of my choices, but I think I chose Anna and the French Kiss for that question, too. Paris is <3, you know?
I so agree with you on Roald Dahl! His books were a major part of my childhood!
And as for Anne of Green Gables… sigh. That is one book which will forever have my heart captured in it. I've got so many memories with that book, it's impossible to even count.
I loved your answers, Analee! I'm glad you did this tag! 🙂

    • They are!! They’re simply gorgeous, whoever created them definitely knows what he/she’s doing. If you do read the books, I’ll be interested in seeing what you think! 🙂

And Paris is the perfect choice!! I’ve dreamed of going there one day for as long as I can remember. XD

Glad you agree! Roald Dahl is one of my favorite children’s authors for sure.

Yes, it is definitely an incredible book! Thanks, Bhramori! I’m glad I happened to have found it on your blog, since this was lots of fun to do.

      • Yes, totally! No problem, if I do read the books, then I’ll be sure to talk to you about them! 🙂

Well, in my case, that dream wouldn’t exactly be Paris. It would be Switzerland. That place is above everywhere else for me. ❤ Come to think of it, I think I might've chosen Heidi for my answer… 😛

        Mine too!! 😀

Oh, you're always welcome, Analee! 🙂 I'm glad you enjoyed doing the tag!

  4. Thanks so much Analee for tagging me! I want to go to Paris too >< actually I want to go to everywhere XD I totally agree that A thousand pieces of you and it's sequel have the best cover. Have you read it tho? I've heard mixed things :/ GOT is also on my tbr, but I've been putting off because of their sizes. It would really be a big accomplishment lol.

    • No problem, Kimsiang! 🙂 I can’t wait to see your answers.

Haha agreed! Paris would be cool, but everywhere would be the best thing ever.

I haven’t read the sequel since it has yet to be released, but I really enjoyed the first book! I’m pretty sure I have a review on it if you want to check it out. I hope you enjoy it as well if you decide to read it!

Yes, same here. When I have so many other books to get to, I just don’t feel like I have the commitment to read such large books! 😉

    • Glad to hear you enjoyed Game of Thrones! I’ve watched a few episodes but haven’t actively been watching the show. I’ve been meaning to start the series for a while now as well; here’s hoping we both start the series one day! XD Thanks!

Also, have you done this tag? If not, I officially tag you to do it! ❤

  5. Wow, I love all your answers! Paris is amazing, and Angelfall is such a good book! I’ve actually never read a Roald Dahl book, but I’ve heard from a lot of people that they’re childhood favorites! Thanks so much for tagging me, this looks like a lot of fun!

    • Glad you like them! Yes, Paris is wonderful, and Angelfall is amazing. 🙂
You haven’t read a Roald Dahl book! In that case, I do hope you try at least one Roald Dahl book before you die. 😀
No problem, can’t wait to see your answers! ❤

  6. Lol. The Song of Ice and Fire is such a long, unfinished series that I think one should celebrate when done reading all the books, especially since the books will take the reader on a crazy emotional ride. Thanks for tagging me!

  7. GIRL! THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE YOU TAGGED! That’s incredible 😁🙌
And thank you for being so lovely and tagging me Analee! You’re a sweetheart! And I loved your answers. It’s such a shame that you didn’t enjoy the Matched trilogy.. I read it when I was quite young and new to reading so I adored it for the entire three books! I did think the third wasn’t that great though.
