Top 10 Tuesday #10 (June 16): Ten Books On My TBR For Summer 2015

Hello! It’s Top 10 Tuesday time, a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is ten books on our TBR for this summer. There was another summer-related topic a few weeks back, (I believe it was great beach reads), so those books also count for books on my summer TBR. However, here’s a list of books I want to read that I haven’t mentioned on that list:

The Night Circus_bookcover1. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I have heard this is great to read during the summer, at night, so I’m definitely looking forward to reading this! It’s also been quite hyped up, so I’m intrigued. 🙂

2. Extraordinary Means by Robyn SchneiderExtraordinary Means_bookcover

Another hyped-up book I can’t wait to get to! I believe there’s a planned movie adaptation for it, actually.

Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda_bookcover3. Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

I actually own this one, and I really want to read it! Going to read it this summer for sure. I’ve been hearing so many great things about this book!

4. Me, Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse AndrewsMe Earl and the Dying Girl_bookcover

This one’s going to be a movie for sure, the trailer has been released! It seems like an interesting novel. You can check out the book trailer below:

Ready Player One_bookcover5. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

I’ve had this on my TBR for a while!

6. Anything Could Happen by Will WaltonAnything Could Happen_bookcover

This one also seems interesting, and I’ve heard lots about it.

Magonia_bookcover7. Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley

The cover is so pretty!! And I’ve also read great reviews on it, so I’m excited to get to it.

8. Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire SanchezAristotle & Dante_bookcover

Every review I’ve read so far on this has been a positive one (maybe ’cause I’m avoiding the bad ones, hehe) and it seems intriguing!

We Were Liars_bookcover9. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

This book has been really popular, it feels like, and I’m curious to see why it’s so hyped up. And isn’t there a movie on this too?City of Fae_bookcover

10. City of Fae by Pippa DaCosta

This seems like something that will be right up my alley. The plot is interesting, there’s fae, what could go wrong? (Don’t answer that.) 😉

Honourable mentions: Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige, The 100 by Kass Morgan, and all the books on my 2015 June Releases post. ❤

So that’s it for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday! What books are on your summer TBR? Let me know in the comments below or leave a link to your post!

Happy Tuesday!

  2. The film for Me, Earl and the Dying Girl is actually out already! It’s not doing the best at the box offices (because it opened in the same weekend as Jurassic World) but it’s a film I want to see soon! And I’ve been telling myself and everyone I’d read Ari and Dante haha and just never found myself to. I hope we both finally get around to reading it despite all the good/bad we’ve heard from it!

    Cheers,

    • Oh! Is it really?! Wow, I can’t believe I missed that. Seems like I’m really behind, thanks for letting me know! 🙂 Gonna have to see it.
Ha ha I know what you mean, I found myself doing that quite a bit recently! I keep telling myself I’ll get to such and such book soon, but I never seem to. Fingers crossed for both of us that that won’t be the case for Aristotle and Dante! I hope we both get around to reading it soon as well. Happy reading, thanks for stopping by!

  3. Can you just copy and paste that to mine? I have read Simon Vs. and We Were Liars but I love the list! I have been debating on participating in TTT this week because my friend and I are taking turns choosing books to read.

    • I’m sure I will! Apparently the movie came out for that already, and I want to watch it soon, but I want to first read the book. 🙂 I think I’ll just be watching it later on though, on DVD or online or something. I’ve heard a few mixed reviews on We Were Liars, but I’m glad to hear you liked it! Looking forward to reading it.
Yes, I’ve been meaning to read The Wrath and the Dawn since it’s been released, but somehow I never made my way to it. Hopefully we’ll both finish it this summer! ❤

    • Lol, seems like we both have many great books we have yet to read then! Glad I’m not the only one. 😀 I already own a copy of both The Night Circus and Me Earl and the Dying Girl… now it’s just a matter of reading them! Fingers crossed for both of us that we’ll get to these soon! ❤
