Hi there guys! Wasn’t feeling it today, sorry about the lack of posts! This is just a quick update post to say that I have finally made a blog button! The HTML link to it is on my sidebar. It looks quite good if I do say so myself, and I am quite proud that I learned how to put it up. Here it is:

What do you think? Constructive criticism is welcome; I’m always looking to improve!

Next on my blog update is my header image! I’m not too sure about it, so your opinions on whether I should keep it or not would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for this update, because I am actually adding blog buttons to my own, so I’ll remember to add yours which i think I would have missed otherwise.
    I really like the button. It goes really well with the theme of your blog.
    The Header is a little blurred in my opinion, I do not know if that was intended on. If not, then maybe you could look into that. I see that you’ve tried to match it with your button, but it would be a little better if there was a slight change and it looked a bit more sharp. Otherwise it’s fine

  2. Great to see you have a blog button! I’m still working on getting decent profile pics, but I have a friend who’s doing that for me.

    My thoughts on the button/header is that they don’t really match. One is primarily white with a blue font (for the big title), while the other is cold with black accents and a red font. I would say keep it consistent, choosing whichever one you like most and trying to match the other to it.

    The header is nice too!
    I get that the it is being edited to sharpen it, so I'm not going to point that out. This is just a suggestion but maybe add a little glitz to your header, make Magnus even prouder? Dude, it rhymes! 😛
    If you're getting rid of the header and making a new one, you could remove the color pencils and put a pen and a paper or a typewriter. It will reflect on the owner of the blog being a writer.
    Those are just suggestions, it is totally cool if you keep the existing ones!
    In the end, it is your blog and it should reflect you, the owner and not us, the readers. As long as you're happy with your choices I'm sure as your friends we will be too. Good luck deciding and great job, Analee! ❤

      Yep, I think I’ll be taking that suggestion. I might try to match the header with the button a bit, color and sparkle-wise, ha ha. 🙂 (Good job with the rhyme!)

  6. I think all the comments already did a good job giving you some friendly feedback. But yeah, I agree they both look great but try using a photo enlarger before you add the text so the pictures aren’t too pixelated!
    And out of curiosity, do you actually make real book snacks? Like bake book-shaped cookies? Because if you did, you could use that as a background maybe. Then again, the apples you have are fine. And much more healthy! 😉

  8. Oh, I LOVE that button!! It looks so light and fairy-like, and yet, it also reminds me of classes in the book “Tom Sawyer”. That was when students would leave apples on the teacher’s desk. Lol. I think it’s just GORGEOUS.

    As for the header, I like it, too, although I wish you would incorporate those golden rays you have in the button. That way, it would relate more to the button. But it’s beautiful, too, nevertheless.

    I have included your button in my list, “My Favorite Blogs” on my own blog! CONGRATS on both the header and the button!! ❤ 🙂

    • Thank you!! I’m so glad you like it. XD That’s exactly the picture I was aiming for, I’m glad I was able to get it across!

      Yes, I have noticed that too, and I also want to add the gold rays into the header. Although for the time being I have kind of abandoned it, I will be fixing up the header and putting it back on soon enough. 🙂
