Mini May Book Haul

I usually post a huge book haul post at the end of each month, but as I just got some awesome new books yesterday, I decided to show them off! 😉 The camera on my iPod is glitching right now, so I won’t be able to post original pictures of the books, unfortunately! I’ll have to make do with the covers off Goodreads.

I’m so excited to finally have purchased this stunning book! ❤ I’m already halfway through it (#ReadingInClass) and it’s amazing so far!

• P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern

I’m loving her Love, Rosie book so far, so I had to buy this book! Plus, that cover though! So fun, with bright colors. My kind of thing!

• How to Fall in Love by Cecelia Ahern

Same reason as P.S I Love You! I also heard several good things about this book.

• The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I’ve heard so much hype surrounding this book, and I’m dying to read it!

• Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

I don’t think I need to explain this one! There’s been so much hype around this, and so many great reviews! Can’t wait to read it.

• Lying Out Loud by Kody Keplinger

I had no idea Kody Keplinger wrote a companion novel to The DUFF! The minute I saw it, I knew I had to buy it! (*Check out my review on The DUFF here.)

• A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Do I have to explain this one? I’m super excited to read this, I know it’s been a while since it’s been released, but I just haven’t had the chance to read it! 🙂

That’s What HE Said Thursday #7 (May 21)

Hiya there! It’s time for another That’s What He Said Thursday post, a meme hosted by Chapter Break. I am itching to feature a quote from Raffe, of none other than End of Days, the third book in the Penryn & the End of Days trilogy by Susan, but as I have already posted a Teaser Tuesday post with End of Days’s predecessor, World After (featuring a little convo between Penryn and Raffe),  I have decided to feature instead another of my book boyfriends, Four from the Divergent trilogy (specifically, Insurgent). Check out this little piece:

Hi there! I finished this book a while back, and was supposed to have finished and posted this review long before now. But, I haven’t, and as I absolutely loved this book, I’m excited to finally post my review on A Thousand Pieces of You!

Quick Summary

So basically, the main character, Marguerite, and her friend Theo, goes off in a search of vengeance for a friend of the family, Paul, who she believes to have killed her father and stolen her parents’ most important creation, the Firebird (which allows the wearer to travel to different dimensions). In those different dimensions she encounters obstacles that prevent her from leaving the dimensions, and faces even more obstacles, while getting nowhere with the whole revenge thing. When she starts to question everything she knew, she finds that the mystery surrounding her father’s death was even more malevolent than she thought.
