Time for another That’s What He Said Thursday, a meme hosted by Chapter Break. This quote, or, more accurately, snippet, is from Hereafter by Tara Hudson, between Amelia and Joshua.
“Joshua?” I called out, a slight hitch in my voice.
“Yeah?”
“What do I look like to you?”
He tilted his head to the side, frowning.
“What do I look like to you?” I repeated urgently, afraid that if I didn’t talk fast enough, I would have time to realize how absolutely, mind-bogglingly stupid I sounded.
Joshua smiled. He answered me, so quietly I almost couldn’t hear him.
“Beautiful. Too beautiful for people not to have noticed you the other night.”
I was going to do only the last bottom part where Joshua answers, but then I thought I might as well put the rest with it as well. 🙂

And I wouldn’t say cliffhanger, not really. The ending was wrapped up on a good note, but regardless of the lack of cliffhanger, I’m definitely interested in finding out what the next books will be about. The plot in this one was really good, and I can’t imagine what the next books will be like! ❤
